A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a power hungry D'Ken Neramani battling Manta and Starbolt from the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode titled "The Phoenix Saga, Part 5: Child of Light," which aired on September 9, 1994. Measuring 9.25"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.25"x7.25", the cel is in very good condition with light surface wear, minor line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
